The Warehouse & Parts Manager position is involved in the ordering and oversight of all parts and equipment used by our services and construction teams. This role will ensure our customer or project is not delayed because we’re missing parts or equipment.

Responsibilities

Each day, ensure the industrial refrigeration parts and equipment are available when a customer or project team needs the materials.

This includes data entry of orders, vendor follow-up, and communication, receipt and verification of the product. Determine the timing of deliveries and communicate estimated delivery dates to customer or project teams.

Match the receiving document to invoice and sign off on vendor invoices before payment.

Accountable for the accurate handling of all phases of inventory control and cycle counts. Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure minimums are available for sale and distribution. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

Accountable for increasing the inside sales of industrial refrigeration parts. Respond to inbound customer parts sales calls. Answer customer questions, present alternatives, provide pricing estimate, sell a solution and issue customer invoice.

Follow all safety procedures and ensure a clean and professional warehouse.

Follow procedures to ensure the security, correct location & count accuracy of all inventory.

Professionally and systemically address any problems associated with order fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in HVAC or HVAC Refrigeration warehouse operations
  • Industrial refrigeration experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
  • Experience setting up an inventory system with bar coding and binning
  • Proven track record selling parts to incoming calls/customer
  • Advanced PC user and working knowledge of ERP systems (large volume of data entry) – 30 WPM
  • General accounting knowledge a plus
  • Being a part of a team, seeing the upside and keeping your word part of who you are

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Reliable and dependable to our team and to the customers

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish Speaker a plus
